According to the startup, their umbrella provides quality medicines from reputed pharma companies by offering up to 80% less prices.
What is Generic Medicine? :

Generic drugs are bioequivalent of brand-name drugs that have exactly the same dosage, intended use, effects, side effects, route of administration, risks, safety, and strength as the original drug.
In other words, their pharmacological effects are exactly the same as those of their brand-name counterparts at a lower price.
#GenericAadhar recently came into the limelight when Ratan Tata, former chairman of Tata sons, invested an undisclosed amount into the venture for bringing affordable medicine to the general public.
Generic Aadhar claims to have annual revenue of "Rs 6 crore" in just 2 years from its start and looking for a revenue of Rs. 150-200 crores in the next 3 years!
Buissness model of #GenericAadhar :

It follows a pharmacy-aggregator business model sourcing generic drugs directly from the manufacturer and providing it to the retailers, thereby cutting out the middlemen completely and delivering medicines to masses at a much lesser cost.
The company provides medication directly from the WHO GMP facility and has tied up with 30 retailers from Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, and Odisha following a profit-sharing model and it supports pharmacies in the unorganized sector by providing them IT infrastructure and branding.
