Changes needed to return Manchester United back to the top: A thread.
1. Sack the transfer negotiators at Manchester United including Judge, Woodward, Arnold etc.
We never seem to build on positive pl campaigns and seem content only with top 4. This is a systematic issue so obviously the Glazers need to go as well. The manager simply isn't backed.

2. Employ Edwin van der Sar or Patrice Evra as Director of Football. Both know the club inside out and understand the vision and smart transfers the clubs should be making. Patrice is an obsessive fan of Manchester united who understands the values of the club and...
has shown in his analysis of Manchester United, where the club needs to be heading. Alternatively, Van der Sar has more experience in a similar role at Ajax who are similar in terms of their youth academy development and intelligent, cruyffian attacking football.
Ajax also have a firmly engrained philosophy of playing for the badge that we have noticed in Solskjaer's vision for the club since he's come in. The idea of a united identity of fast, attacking and tenacious play is the sort of football we should be looking to play.
3. Retain Solskjaer as manager. He understands the philosophy of the club and has demonstrated consistency on scintillating streaks of form such as with the momentous run since Bruno came in. People often question his tactics however many of our worst performances have been ...
down to poor individual performances that can mostly be traced to a lack of transfer action in investing in the right areas and less to do with coaching shortcomings. People are also quick to forget ole's record against some of the leagues best managers and his development of ...
Of many players in our ranks, particularly attacking players. The likes of rashford, martial, Greenwood, pogba, fred and bruno have all endured their best career moments under solskjaer which demonstrates his incredible ability to develop attacking players.
Even Erling Håland has sighted solskjaer as a large part of his success as a player, a player solskjaer was chasing but failed to land after the transfer shortcomings yet again of the woodward and Co. Dortmund signed Hålaand for only around €19m for reference.
Also it must be recognised how great the youth academy has been since Solskjaer's appointment. The likes of Greenwood, Williamw Mejbri, Mengi, Laird, Galbraith, Elanga, Jurado, Hugill and Galbraith all look exciting. Also young signings such as stevanovic, pellistri and diallo.
4. This brings me on to my next point. We must continue to develop our academy. Some of our best ever players and many of our current players have been developed from either a young age or in our academy. These players are generally more familiarised with the philosophy...
playing style and demands of the club having been reared on the vision and expectations from a very young age. Currently examples of such players are evident with Rashford, Greenwood, Mctominay, Williams, Henderson, Mengi etc. Some argue we need quality and not just academy...
graduates and while that is true, you can't disregard the importance and value of academy players. They are often so willing to play for the badge and in a corporate world of football increasingly motivated by money that is the most invaluable key to success.
5. Who we should actually sign.
Right now we need another two CB's, a true RW and most crucially a cdm. I'd advise we get Sancho, Upamecano, Camavinga or Rice and another CB depending on the development of Tuanzebe and Mengi and the fitness of Bailly.

6. Lastly, if solskjaer is sacked eventually (which seems sadly likely) we should appoint a manager willing to implement all the above philosophies. Allegri, Pochettino and Nagelsmann are all rumoured names. I just want an attacking, exciting playstyle that I feel we currently...
have but the lack of transfer backing in consecutive windows will sadly probably doom any candidate who takes the cursed reigns of Manchester United head coach. Thanks for reading, if anyone decides to. #GlazersOutWoodwardOutJudgeOut
