Honestly I& #39;m kinda struggling with how Biden can be so kind to his drug-using son while knowingly enacting policy that& #39;s so violently callous to all other people who use drugs

Seeing a lot of people say they gained respect for Biden after this, and I get that on a personal level but on a political level it makes his record all the more despicable.

He has a heart, he just chooses to only use it where his family is concerned.

(PS I& #39;ve known he& #39;s a despicable politician for a while so I& #39;m not actually "struggling" with this non-mystery, but more with how quick even leftists have been to go "aww, what a good dad" without thinking about the wider implications for his violent Drug Warrior record.)
