I am hanging up the lanyard, giving back my uniform and saying goodbye to my role as a guard for Greater Anglia: A Thread. #trainlife
These last (almost) 3 years have been the most magical years of my life. I& #39;ve had some really good times

I& #39;ve travelled to so many places in practically every type of weather.
And I& #39;ve made some weird little mates along the way.
I& #39;ve seen sunset after sunrise after sunset, each one being more beautiful than the last.
I& #39;ve said goodbye to old friends and hello to new ones.
And we& #39;ve had a good few giggles along the way!
But the thing I& #39;ll miss most about being a guard is working with my sweet old dad @symatt - the person who made me want to be a guard so so badly. It& #39;s been a great few years and I have so many amazing stories.
So, what& #39;s next for Bessie? What could possibly take me away from a job I love love love so much?
I& #39;ll be seeing things from the front seat with South Western Railway, tucked away in a humble depot, and I couldn& #39;t be more excited. #trainlife
