I have typed and deleted this several times so I hope you know that I post this on good faith.

Last night at the Lekki Toll protest ground, for the very first time since I’ve been going to protest, I felt unsafe.

Hoodlums were catcalling women, touching their bums as they...

walked past and verbally harassing them with words like, “endyansh” “oloshomustgo” etc.

I humbly implore those who can influence the process of this protest to put a cap to the daily protest times. These hoodlums may soon turn the protest ground to their nightly hangouts.

We do not want this to mar our fight and struggle.

Can we start the protest as early as possible and end it by 6 pm? We can also volunteer to man the toll while we open it to make sure no one pays toll fees.

I am passionate about Nigeria, please let’s not allow hoodlums who

just want to have fun and use drugs end this fight when we haven’t even reached its peak.
