The woman has ~put to bed~ (nonstandard).
The woman has ~delivered~ a baby (nonstandard).
The woman has been delivered of a baby (standard).
Note that 'to put to bed' means to finalise work on a newspaper so that it can go to press or to get a child ready for sleep.
Her ~water~ broke at 3 a.m. and the baby was born soon after (nonstandard).
Her waters broke at 3 a.m. and the baby was born soon after (standard). The amniotic fluid surrounding the fetus in the womb is called waters.
The pregnant woman was nursed back to ~life~ (nonstandard).
The pregnant woman was nursed back to health (standard).
