@IKEAIndia should really start giving stage wise updates on delivery and not just give a window of 9am to 8PM and end up not delivering. Large shipments often goto new under construction sites and what they say is, someone will call you 60min prior delivery. Not practical.
From where the material is to be delivered, which is a under construction site, I wouldn’t reach in 60 mins. And my order isn’t delivered. As per the committed date. Their toll free says we can’t do anything but to wait till you get a call 60 mins prior delivery.
Update 9.53AM : TollFree confirms material has reached Talegaon, @IKEAIndia hub on 12th and lying there. They are not in a position to confirm if the same has been picked up for delivery today. They dont have a system to check it. I've been assured a call back in an hour. Lets c
And intriguing part. Hub in Talegaon? Outskirts of Pune? For Delivery in Mumbai? Seriously @IKEAIndia?

Let me complete this thread. We got tracing the material. First we went to the warehouse of @delhivery in Marol to learn that this had moved to a different location. We went hunting and found the same. Remember the system still said material out for delivery.
Apparently @delhivery had moved to a different warehouse couple of days ago and hence all this mess. The guys on the warehouse were really helpful and traced out the goods still lying in the warehouse, while the system was saying they are out for delivery.
After that they got it deliver in the next hour. But the sorry state of that warehouse. My god. It’s a disaster waiting to happen. If you are in Mumbai and if you have ordered something from @IKEAIndia please be prepared to wait weeks for delivery.
Not just delay in delivery but quite possibly your shipment broken completely. The entire warehouse is in mess, improperly stacked and most the shipment broken and dumped by the side. With more trucks waiting to be unloaded.
@IKEAIndia has done a blunder by signing up with @delhivery and their name is going to be further tarnished. And all this while, contact Center kept saying material out for delivery and you’ll get in couple of hours. This is my last order with @IKEAIndia
