I have a question: is the sense of smell the same thing as the sense of touch?
not the same - but a more specific version of it
I was off da loud when I tweeted this.. but I was just thinking cause— touch is our response to something’s texture, physical property; hearing is our response to sound waves; seeing is our response to radiation (light waves) — what’s the physics in smelling something??
like if the chemicals in a substance give it its smell — then isn’t our perception of a smell actually our response of the chemical reacting to our particular scent glands??
okay maybe not touch — but maybe taste?? same typa response
Oh yea i feel like I was thinking testing and smelling the same?? Nah I was tweaking saying it was the same as touch lmfao
Im bout to delete this thread god i am an idiot
