• Make Russia look powerful
• Make America look weak
• Be a highly effective recruitment tool for other corrupt US, EU, etc., politicians

3/ Keeping Trump in the US where he would be indicted and stand trial would:

• Maintain the Rule of Law
• Help to prevent similar behaviors in other politicians
• Help to heal the National Psyche
• Help to restore America's international reputation
