Ok after like 8 hours of playing ghost of tsushima legends and being rank 46 with playing/unlocking only 2 difficulties here are my thoughts:
positives:
-the equipment system is soooo good and the levels with it make every little thing so rewarding. it also forces you to play higher difficulties to unlock newer better stuff which is really good.
-difficulty system is really well done, not only are enemies just better but it adds more waves and by the end they are filled with super difficult enemies and that is good
-combat is basically got but using more unrealistic abilities. the 4 classes are different enough to make me have a preference depending on playstyle.
-classes are really well done with their small skill tree and basically being made to elevate different playstyles
-its available with the original game for free
-later rounds get so hectic and crazy that they make the long time to get there worth it with new enemy types that have their own movesets
-online is good
negatives:
-matches are 30-45 minutes depending on difficulty (only tested easy and medium difficulties) its way too long especially since the beginning rounds aren’t all that exciting.
-ultimate moves are kinda underwhelming. like if you hit all three shots imagine a special ending plays with a smallish cutscene playing followed by the enemies getting hit by it. would have made it be so much more rewarding and fun to use
-takes way too long to unlock characters. it will take like 15 hours to get them all so choose which to unlock first wisely
-actually just character leveling is taking a while tbh. make it a little faster and both of these points are gone
End of thread
So basically the mode is really fun and if you already own the game give it a shot
i can only recommend it if you already beat the game and liked it as its kinda ment to be for people who enjoyed and beat the og game and not made to sell copies really
