I’m really sick of hopping on a bandwagon of economic “progressivism” when simply, I just don’t believe that’s the case. We literally see wider poverty gaps in socialist countries, so even though there’s “larger social safety nets,” when it comes to “free healthcare” and such...

actually doesn’t fix the system... like, at all. And people may be sacrificing many more social and political freedoms to do so. There are many emblems of progressive socialized medicine that do work (like in France and Cuba), but when it comes to the whole system, countries...

fail. It’s not a permanent system. And people from the US are so privileged to think that it is. So as we continue to open our amazon boxes with our activism gear in them as we “tear down” capitalism or whatever, I hope we genuinely think about what we’re doing.

And also, I’m open to learning, but if you’re not, please stay out of this thread or my DMs.
