i was in such denial about wilbur being the villain at first. he had good intentions at the start but I've come to realize there's really no saving him at this point. he's lost everything he still had because of this obsession with destroying the one thing he couldn't get back.

niki has lost faith in him, tubbo has lost faith in him, and tommy, the one who stood by wilbur's side through everything, who never gave up on him no matter how far he'd fallen, who stuck by his side even though he disagreed with what wilbur was becoming, has lost faith in him.

tommy did everything he could to convince wilbur there was another way, but there's nothing he can do now. it's tommy, tubbo, and niki against the world now, against wilbur now. it's tommy's turn to lead the revolution now. wilbur really did become the villain in tommy's history.
