Too many people are scared to try new things, to change directions or to simply stop what isnât working because of what others think or the fear of embarrassment.
No. Itâs better to have put your all in and tried than to have sat on your fat ass doing nothing.

Iâd much prefer to have started multiple projects/ businesses than to have done none and wondered what if.
NK is one of 6 businesses Iâve tried my hand at. The one I couldnât stop even when I wanted to. The one Iâm the most passionate about, the one that during (almost) every stage it still excites me.
I wanted a restaurant, found one, wasnât what I wanted so we renovated it. Put TONS of money in, making it everything I saw in my dreams, ran it for a year and started to resent going there.
I wasnât sleeping. I was even dreaming about the shop. I couldnât get a day off. The stress was beyond. We were running at a loss. Our overall outgoings were ÂŁ20k a month. I wasnât seeing my kids. When it came to decide whether to renew or not, I had to just cut my losses.
And whilst there are some aspects that I miss. I donât regret it one bit. It was something I wanted - I came, I saw, I conquered but the peace of mind once it was closed..

So I guess I say all that to say this...itâs okay to try different things, to want more, itâs amazing to follow what you feel is the natural progression of your path & hang in there in the tough times, but also tap into how you really feel and know when itâs time to walk away.
