This looks like a fun new tool from Automattic, the creators of WordPress so we figured we’d give it a whirl. This tool helps you craft long multithread message on Twitter, also known as a tweetstorm.
The following steps will walk you through how to setup WordPress to publish a blog post as a multithreaded tweet.
Step 1 – Activate and Install Jetpack
Step 2 – Connect WordPress to Twitter in the Jetpack settings
From here you’ll be sent over you http://WordPress.com , where a lot of the features of Jetpack are located. Also at this step you can go ahead and login into the Twitter account you’ll be connecting.
Step 3 – Connect Jetpack To Twitter
It should only take a couple clicks to authorize the connection assuming you’re logged into the right Twitter account. Once this is setup, Jetpack will automatically tweet your post as a link when you hit publish.
Step 4 – Publish a blog post as a multithreaded tweet
Once you’ve crafted your first message and selected ‘Share your entire blog post as a Twitter thread in muiltiple Tweets’, all you have to do do is click Publish and Jetpack should publish a blog post as a multithreaded tweet.
Be advised that we usually keep Jetpack inactive or uninstalled from our sites as it can slow page load speed down by a couple of seconds. Fortunately you can just reactive it to use this feature, which based on results, looks great!
