I am never shopping at @autozone again.

I am serious. Customer service is comically bad. Almost like the staff is recruited from Boys Town -- except those guys might know something about cars.

The best local place is @NAPAKnowHow.

Talking to the feeb at @autozone, I said, "I need an upper radiator hose for a 351 Cleveland. Car's a '73 Ranchero."

"OK.....is that six or eight cylinders?"

<holy shit, right?>

"8," I say calmly.

OK.... what size is that? 2.3? 3.3?"

"It's a 351. They call that a 5.8 litre."

Guy at @NAPAKnowHow understood me instantly, and within seconds he told me they have it. It'll be at the counter.

Never going to that @Autozone store again. They treat everyone like shit. And they're idiots. One or the other is OK. After all, it's fucking 2020, right? Not both.

Earlier, taking to @autozone, after I had explained that this was a hose for a big old engine, and that a hose was a bendy cylindrical thing, he said one store had it and that they would have it later today. What sent me to @napaknowhow was discovering that they DIDN'T get it.

Had no record I'd called and explained hoses. My god....
