How @F1 rumours spread. A thread.
1. @Blickch's @roger_benoit reports Gasly may be talking to Renault for 2021 at the bottom of an article - https://www.blick.ch/sport/formel1/transfer-chaos-wird-immer-groesser-bricht-red-bull-ein-fremder-pilot-im-cockpit-id16142800.html

2. @GPFansGlobal picks this up, spinning it into their own article. They do mention @Blickch, but don't link back to Blick: https://www.gpfans.com/nl/artikelen/58092/gasly-onderhandelt-met-renault-over-zitje-van-ocon-in-2022/
3. A site called 'alkhaleejtoday' then picks up the @GPFansGlobal article, republishing the content: https://alkhaleejtoday.co/sport/5096996/%E2%80%98Gasly-negotiates-with-Renault-about-Ocon%E2%80%99s-seat-in-2022%E2%80%99.html

The regurgitated article, not the original, is now the 2nd most popular on r/Formula1...

The point being is, because of the amount of 'upvotes' the @reddit @F1Subreddit submission has had, I suspect the regurgitated version has had many, many more clicks than what it actually deserves...
