Here& #39;s a mini-rant about Guilty Gear (I guess in this case +R) and difficulty because it frustrates the hell out of me to see good games get dismissed because of shitty herd mentality around what games are playable and which ones aren& #39;t. Let& #39;s gatling through some bullshit.
Roman Cancels. That& #39;s what RC stands for. They& #39;re the exact same as Focus Attack Cancels, because Capcom stole the idea from a better game. lol.
In all seriousness, on hit or block you can cancel what you& #39;re doing for half your super bar and you& #39;ll be free to do whatever.

FRC, or False Roman Cancels because you probably didn& #39;t know what the F stood for. It& #39;s okay. It& #39;s completely useless knowledge anyways. Is a Roman Cancel that requires timing. That& #39;s it. There& #39;s a window that you can RC that costs less meter. And it& #39;s called an FRC.
Apparently some spaces call it a "Force Roman Cancel" but I& #39;ve never heard it called that before today so, like, that& #39;s just your opinion, man.
As long as you have 50% meter you don& #39;t have to "force" yourself to do an FRC. You can try for it, miss, and still do your sequence.

Gatlings are just chain combos. You don& #39;t have to think or time them. You just mash A>B>C>D and it& #39;ll come out. In fact, that& #39;s even how gatlings are notated! Only, instead of using KOF& #39;s ABCD notation for buttons, they use the first letter of each button, P>K>S>HS>D.
Speaking of throwing shade at Street Fighter, Force Breaks. They& #39;re just EX moves. Capcom did this one first tho. I& #39;m watching you ASW...

That& #39;s all there is to it. They& #39;re just EX versions of a character& #39;s best moves. No trigonometry here.

Brace yourselves, I know it& #39;s been a mountainous climb to get here, but it& #39;s time for the lightning round.
6P - Universal anti-air. Every character has one.
DAA - It& #39;s just Guard Cancel Blowback, but not quite as good.
Jump Cancels - Press up when you hit someone. That& #39;s it.

"But Logan," you ask, "what about the G.U.T.S. system?"
What, a system that makes you take less damage the less health you have? You mean, just like in SFIV?
