Been at the protests for larger part of the afternoon and let me report correctly, it’s been a good day! Forget the narrative of losing guard, it’s been focused today! #5for5 #EndSARS

Any videos or pictures you see today showing otherwise are honestly HUGE outliers. And they’re further away from where people are gathered.

Yes it’s gotten busier with cards packed along the stretches but that’s really where most folk are doing extra. The guys behind the PA system and on the truck/stage are incredible however

While I was there, they’d routinely read out the names of the deceased (bless them) and the crowd echo “hero!” in response. They read through the the #5for5 demands often as well.

And importantly they (Bishop & the co-MC) reminded people, we don’t want violence. We don’t wanna be stuck here. Once the government settle us we leave. And the crowd agree!

I feel a lot more confident that we are sensitising those out there to keeping the purpose of why we are protesting so let’s focus on this energy guys! There will be anomalies but they’re truly the minority. #WeMove #EndSARS #5for5 #EndPoliceBrutality
