loss is a theme that’s always present in yoongi’s music and im fascinated by the way he deals with it bc he does not frame loss or endings as something you should resist and that’s something one takes a lifetime to learn
consistent w the book ‘life lessons’ that he was reading: “if you’re present at many beginnings, you’ll also be there for many endings” that idea seems like something that def resonates w him bc no matter how dark his songs can get there’s rarely a feeling of /panic/ or fatality.
he writes abt the pain that comes with loss, the anger, even the bargaining (the last w the guillotine line) but ultimately there’s always acceptance (Ex: the shadow’s verse in interlude shadow, black swan, suga’s interlude) and an idea that loss happens eventually. naturally.

bc we don’t like to think about the fact that nothing lasts forever, there’s often sadness or worries in the way ppl respond to his work or words but yoongi is sincerely so wise and grounded i can only be impressed.
a lot of times ive seen people wonder why they feel so reassured whenever yoongi says something or by his music and honestly, how could you not? how could you not be reassured by someone who manages to make even painful endings into a proof you were blessed ?
tldr; yoongi big mind
