"huh i wonder what's a piece of tape doing there" *pulls off* "you motherfUCKER"

WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP DOING THIS. WHY DO I HAVE TO CLEAN THIS SHIT UP
tinning the ends of the multistrand copper wire before stuffing it into a screw terminal block is just the cherry on top. you weren't content with turning a blind eye to one fire hazard. you had to create a second one ON PURPOSE
the tile on the ceiling is not asbestos. the tile on the ceiling is polystyrene, you know, to make sure that when the connections heat up, the entire place gets ablaze *really* quickly
as a bonus, i'm pretty sure (assuming it's wired the same as other ceiling lamps) that turning the switch off actually leaves the lamp live. this isn't because there's some setup where there are two switches controlling this lamp. it's just to make sure it's extra deadly
i want to fix this but i can't stop screaming
