All the people talking about negotiations, I know this is the model we know. Protest till you get attention and then negotiate. That we are where we are should tell you that model doesn't work. Not for us.

When does negotiation happen? When there is clear evidence of good faith.

How do we identify that? When clear actions are carried out with regard to demands made. When protesters can go out without being shot at.

Why? Because despite assurances that action is happening, protesters are still being attacked. Lagos is not Nigeria.
