at work sometimes i make lunch for everyone.
some of my coworkers will come up to me and say “x wants seconds but they didn’t finish their plate”
so? making kids finish their plate and forcing them to eat foods they don’t want to creates bad feelings towards food.

i’m not saying give them dessert instead of green beans but if they want a second piece of chicken instead of a roll there’s no problem with it. let them be little and be fed. as long as they like what they are eating and they are healthy, then it’s okay.
forcing children to eat foods they don’t like the taste of can lead to disordered eating !!!
