Hello all, I’ve seen a lot of the tweets at me, about funds and all, and I want to assure everyone that a FULL and complete account of every single kobo we have received has been made.

I’d have been doing the reporting myself in real time, - but it’s hard to be at the protest grounds and aggregate finances at the same time. So, going forward, @OlotuEmmanuel will be the contact person for all funds as I pull my weight where I know best, THE PROTEST GROUNDS

We have currently raised N4,046,923, spent N1,919,701 and now have a balance of N2,127,222.

When @feminist_co started raising funds, we wanted to stop, but we were advised that as a DECENTRALIZED movement, raising funds in blocs is recommended - especially for when we cannot reach @fkabudu /Feminist Co.

Some people have also reached out to us for critical stuff, after having unsuccessfully reached Feminist Co. I’m guessing they are swamped and are unable to respond quickly enough. And I understand - we’re all overwhelmed. Hence the need to have alternate funds.

We need to keep the wheels turning, and quick access to funds are critical. This movement is for us all, so I’m always open to better suggestions on how we can move forward till we get what we want! #EndSARS
