My dig on Nina Witkofsky and Tom Moeller who were placed by Trump as political appointments to keep an eye on Redfield/CDC. https://twitter.com/JonLemire/status/1317055649310789633
Cause I like to keep it in one place.
First, I think Lemire needed to show the whole screenshot
No surprise here, right?
Appointed to the Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Dietitians - Seriously, WTF?!

Governor Kemp Names 17 State Board Appointments http://newnanceo.com/news/2019/09/governor-kemp-names-17-appointments/
Consumer member.
meep, seems hubby worked for Bush Sr.
"Consultants performed traditional day-to-day communications tasks. Docs reveal that, among other duties traditionally performed by CMS officials, consultants frequently staffed Administrator Verma during interviews90 & official travel, at times without any CMS staff present"
to lead its communications efforts on major policy initiatives and rollouts that would undermine millions of Americans’ access to affordable health care.

🖕her and she's part of the Coronavirus Task force
To help them carry out these tasks, CMS leadership provided the consultants with direct access
to market-sensitive information and Administrator Verma herself.
Man this story is a thread in itself but here's another important link to it all:

At the time of the contracts, Ms. Verma was a newcomer to Washington, 👉 brought into the administration by Mr. Pence, who had worked with her in Indiana, where she was a health care consultant.
Is it me or am I right that anytime there's a GA fuqqery link, Mike Pence + Kemp are involved? (Lemme guess, Ayers and Perdue)
FTR, that last quote is from the NYT article above the IG report. Only one more thing I'll add (also from that article) cuz it seems important given the media sh!tshow âŹ‡ïž
The girls’ night events, she said, were hosted by “journalists including Judy Woodruff, Norah O’Donnell, Rita Braver, Andrea Mitchell and others to honor significant accomplishments of both Democratic and Republican women.”

Consulting disbursements from the Trump campaign. đŸ€”
There's a lot to unpack here.
She has more experience that just some side consultant and doesn't seem like a typical CDC CoS.

"was the principal negotiator for the 2009/2010 U.S.-Russia Bilateral Presidential Commission on Education, Culture and Sports"

I mean, the learning never ends around here.

Here are the 2 CDC positions filled by Witkofsky and Moeller. Remember this?

August 14, 2020
Kyle McGowan, the CDC’s chief of staff, and Amanda Campbell, the deputy chief of staff, announced their departure in emails to colleagues on Friday morning. https://thakoni.com/cdcs-chief-of-staff-deputy-chief-of-staff-jointly-depart/
From Lemire's article (1st one @ top):

When the two appointees showed up in Atlanta, their roles were a mystery to senior CDC staff, the people said. They had not even been assigned offices. Eventually one, Nina Witkofsky, became acting chief of staff, an influential role as âŹ‡ïž
Redfield’s right hand. The other, her deputy Chester “Trey” Moeller, also began sitting in on scientific meetings, the sources said.

"Chester" - 😂 Matt Gaetz is mad right now.
Before I jump into Moeller, I want to slide this in.

This is about Nancy Beck of EPA, former chemical industry executive, who assisted in the sidelining of the CDC Reopening Guidelines:
https://expressdigest.com/trump-nominee-nancy-beck-played-key-role-in-shelving-cdcs-reopening-america-report/
Beck is on detail for the WH w/ OMB, where she is coordinating review of pandemic stimulus measures & CDC guidance. She has a doctorate in environmental health & has worked as a toxicologist, specializing in the study of the health risks from chemical substances to the human body
‘I am deeply concerned by the nominee’s involvement in advocating for the deregulation of toxic chemicals known as PFAS & I have questions about her potential involvement with the CDC coronavirus guidance,’ said Sen. Maria Cantwell, the top Dem on the committee'

😳 We all are.
Before the Trump admin, Beck was a Sr director for policy at the American Chemistry Council, the primary lobbying arm for U.S. chemical manufacturers. She frequently testified on Capitol Hill against stricter safeguards to protect human health & the environment from toxins.
Many emails show that the CDC’s 👉chief of staff, Robert ‘Kyle’ McGowan (CoS that left) attempted to get approval from Beck/OMB to post the guidelines that were submitted by Redfeild on April 10th.
On April 30, one day before Trump’s May 1 reopening goal, McGowan was told guidelines will ‘never see the light of day,’

ps. Beck hasn't been confirmed yet. 🙄
I wanted to show that because when you put pieces together from Seema Verma to outside consultants/CoS's (Witkofsky + Moeller) to Pence to Beck, etc..

It seems *TO ME* that the effort to mislead & endanger the American people is a bigger effort than containing the virus.
