Hmmm I think Vincent is extremely empathetic actually like a lot of Gil's problem is that he's very in his own head and can't really understand other people's feelings or situations but imo Vincent has a pretty severe tendency of projecting onto other people

That's the entire basis for his relationship with Noise and his relationship with Leo and I think at least a significant part of his relationship with Alice. He sees a lot of himself in these other people and acts according to that

He's rly similar to Oz in a lot of ways and I think part of why they never interacted was bc Oz is so empathetic he probs would've figured out what was going on w Vincent within like 5 mins of talking to him .
In Lucky Day too I think he's projecting onto Oz a little

Vincent never states his feelings on Oz but I disagree w the interpretation that he dislikes him for a number of reasons (mostly that Vincent isn't actually a jealous person) but I think he sees a lot of his relationship w Gil in Gil's w Oz and resents this a little

What makes him upset in Lucky Day is a scenario where he's explicitly comparing Gil's codependency w him as children w Gil's current infatuation w Oz . The two are very different but what he's angry abt/mocking Gil for is his obsession w feeling needed
