Today I saw a post from a Trump supporter & I decided to do what I call a republican "welfare check." Turns out, it& #39;s a toss up on whether or not they really like Trump or just put up with his shenanigans. I know some people feel Trump is "worth it" to keep conservative values
I say, WHAT VALUES?! How can one even breach the subject of values when the opening line is justifying compromising those very values? I was a republican, granted I leaned toward the middle at times.But since 1988 I have dutifully towed the line, exceptions
(until Trump) you could count on your hands (that& #39;s local, state, and presidential elections for over 30 years). I have volunteered for campaigns and even worked for a couple of people in the 90s. But I simply cannot stomach what has become of the republican party.
I don& #39;t see how we reached this point. I know they are going to turn on Trump. It is coming, he will be nothing, not even worth their time. That& #39;s worse than being talked badly about in Trump world. Even bad press is press to him. I feel some undercover Trump supporters who feel
he is "worth it" are possibly among us right now. To you I say, do you really, really justify defiling democracy, all for 4 years of a madman, who is not even a republican, to ruin our great nation& #39;s reputation,
who is turning ourselves against each other while he laughs himself to the bank, for your ridiculous impetuous, self-righteous conservative stronghold? To be perfectly honest, I wish Shakespeare was still alive to write about this time in history.
The irony of the conservative right electing a self serving porn star f*cking, bankrupt, conman, Russian operative, dictator loving, anti-religion, who cut military expenses, pro union, doesn& #39;t understand foreign trade, screwed up tariffs,
blatantly flaunts his disobedience to law and order, enjoys mocking his enemies, uses terms only used by authoritarians and dictators;
YET THEIR CONDESCENDING VOTE WILL GO FOR TRUMP WHO REPRESENTS NONE OF THEIR REPUBLICAN VALUES AND WILL WRECK WHAT IS LEFT OF DEMOCRACY AND THE UNITY OF OUR NATION. Do you really think the economy is better?Please check the records because it is not.
Our economy was not better before the pandemic hit. It was pretty much the same as any other president, definitely not best. Additionally, our economy is now in tatters due to Trump& #39;s mishandling of covid-19. Empathy is something he lacks. Moral fiber is non-existent.
That& #39;s a necessity in a health care situation. Let& #39;s be honest,any situation, I& #39;d prefer to be in the company of someone with empathy. I mean if you were in a room with two other people, one was Trump and one was let& #39;s say Humm, Snoop Dogg,who would you choose to run your company
I would choose Snoop. He is a multimillionaire, has multiple businesses in many countries, has multiple charities, is actually religious and spiritual, he helps veterans and the disabled, he coaches his kid& #39;s little league football, he is active in the community,
he is honest about his crap and he is a badass rapper. Trump is a multi bankrupt conman, who knows what he is actually worth, grifter, not allowed to have a charity in the state of New York, he has openly mocked people with disabilities,
he has openly disrespected veterans, he cares nothing for women or their kids, he has said he is sexually attracted to his daughter, spends little time with family, and lies abundantly. I know republican values, I was one. They know this and will still vote for him.
Me personally, I went so far as to change parties completely because I feel the whole party has been corrupted. They have cheated, lied and supported Trump and his Wile E. Coyote schemes everytime. I can& #39;t put my name on something like that. No, just no.
My name means something to me. No,these voters aren& #39;t "good christians." They& #39;ve put the value of a dollar & ironically conservative"values" before decency. And yes, I just judged someone I do not even know and probably some I do know and I accept the consequences of that action
