Full plates are not enough to stay healthy. This World Food Day the @FCDOGovUK must #InvestInNutrition and protect those living in poverty around the world against #Covid19 and rising malnutrition.
We need to be focused on the outcome. People who are well nourished. What does that mean?

The UK has been a global leader in its work on malnutrition. It has reached over 50 million people, helped long-term decreases in stunting, encouraged other donors to step up. But all this is in jeopardy as its current commitment expires in less than 3 months.
The evidence is there, the support is there, and so is the solution. Civil society is calling on UK Govt, from 2021-25, to:

1. Commit £120m per year on programmes that target malnutrition
2. Ensure £680m per year is tailored to be nutrition relevant
3. Reach another 50m people
