all these medusakawa and bli/nd iwa on the timeline made think if oikawa's voice can help iwa sense directions. like if oikawa was talking at a certain direction, iwa would walk there just by following the melody of his voice

but what if medusakawa doesn't speak very often so instead he hums and the melody forms into words in iwa's comprehension

and then oik asks him if he could tell what he looks like and brings iwa's hand to his cheek. then iwa smiles and says he looks like the flowers in spring. the snowflakes in winter. the leaves during autumn. the bright rays of the sun during summer

but one day, oik notices how iwa's irises are slowly turning more opaque which means his eyesight is coming back. so oik asks Sleep if they can put iwa to sleep. and while he's asleep, oik tries to find a way so they could still be together

so oik ends up covering his hairsnakes with a shawl and his eyes with a blindfold when iwa wakes up. iwa gets that oikawa is only trying to save him, but one time, while they're kissing, oikawa's blind fold fell off and they were staring right at each other

lemme add some more. so surprisingly iwa didnt get petrified yet,, because he closed his eyes as quick as he could ,, but it was oik who got affected. his skin turned into scales, from the tip of his toes to his adam's apple

so all this time iwa wasnt forbidden to see oikawa at all, they were forbidden to see each other ( as in both of them ) or else oikawa's skin will turn into scales

OKAY THIS ISNT WHAT HAPPENED IN THE ACTUAL STORY. i am the new ovid hehe. i really hate the original story of medusa because it's so sad and i dont want to reflect that much sexism and sadness here

so yeah oikawa turned into a snake :p but snake in mythology means rebirth so ,, how do i incorporate that ,, oh wait

so iwaizumi has synethesia and then he can remember oikawa's hums and forms them into a song, connecting them together. all along it had been a warning. if he didnt put together, they mean something else. but since he connected them, it turned into a warning

"your eyes will not bring your downfall, but ours.
if we stare at each other but i will turn into a serpent in the next few hours.
my love, i am sorry.
i will save you from the punishment of my felony."

and then somehow that weird song kept playing in iwa's head until he was able to play it using apollo's lyre so it helped me find out that oik is in danger,, since he is medusa, known to kill just by looking at his eyes, people are still hunting him despite

turning into a serpent. so oik is captured and is to be pe/rsecuted in front of athena's temple. but then iwa goes there and plays the lyre and puts everyone asleep so he frees oikawa and escapes with him but he still has scales for skin

i do not know what to do with oikawa's snake skin so um

so i did some research and apparently, blind people could still be affected with medusa's power but not in a way they would get petrified so um.. idk what to do with that info just wanted to share
