if bighit keep buying out smaller companies u know it isn’t to help them ,, it’s literally a monopolisation technique where they acquire more control of the industry and therefore the market for their own capitalistic gain . they don’t give a sht abt helping small companies
they see these small companies with amazing groups that don’t have too much influence in the domestic and international market and immediately see that they can use them for their own gain and it’s just weird to me
and it’s obviously a way to overthrow the big 3 in terms of both industry and market influence alongside net worth and that’s a problem . one company should not have ownership of all once independent companies plus the main influence of the industry
like idk how people can stan a company that is doing this bc this is the root of capitalism and it’s taking away the independence and integrity of smaller companies
this is a quite a dirty way of obtaining dominance in an industry bc instead of going with the trends with organic groups and genuinely working your way up they’re just buying companies and artists out to get there and skip the hard stuff other companies had to do
and yes a company who was once small and working from a garage can still do this and it still be for capitalistic gain . they worked hard when they were smaller but they’re basically finding ways to cheat the system now like just make your own groups instead of buying ppl out
basically like i’m not saying you shouldn’t stan groups from companies like this bc you’d have to avoid a big chunk of the industry but don’t say that company isn’t “as bad as the others” or in it for capitalistic gain as a drag bc that’s super ignorant and just wrong
pls i’m literally here to have conversations about the industry . i’ve only just started my dissertation and did a little bit of research so i want to talk about this stuff but if you’re going to come into my mentions being rude i’m gonna assume ur a company stan
okay i’m gonna add more . i never said other companies didn’t do this too, it’s all about capitalising, dominance and influence . but i’m gonna compare bighit and sm for a second , sm have been around since 1995, have tonnes of organic groups and have a acquired a few companies +
bighit who have been around since 2005, have 4 artists and have acquired a similar amount of independent companies to sm except they’ve specifically chosen already established companies with successful groups +
yes they’ve done the same thing but bighit have done it in a much smaller space of time and with very few of their own artists so it’s obvious it’s mostly about their capitalistic gain to quickly work their way to the top of the industry and big 3/4
also just bc this is a “smart business move” doesn’t mean that it’s ethical especially when those independent companies were already established THATS the difference with companies like sm who acquired smaller companies with little chance of capitalistic gain
basically they’re literally all in it for the capitalism and dominance so u literally can’t use this as a drag against other companies and i’m just highlighting the differences in how bh did this to other companies and it’s literally fact
!! this isn’t a drag i did research i’m discussing for my dissertation stop booing me !!
“why you saying this like we didn’t know” bc a lot of people on this app are actually children and genuinely think their fav company is buying small companies to help them. buying //successful// small companies is a really disgusting and selfish move . ppl lose their jobs
