today at work, i overheard my supervisor and my kiddos mom talking and they said that i have been the best tech that he has had since he started the program. he started YEARS ago. i told them that i was going to cry about it later, i did not lie.
“ever since you started working with him (in JULY) his real personality has come out. it’s been really cool to see.”
both his mom and my supervisor agreed that we are a really good match, and it makes my heart so happy because i love that kid.
he graduates from the program at the end of the year and they’re trying to figure out a way that i can continue working with him.
it made my heart so full, i don’t think they realized how much it actually meant to me. i have been feeling really poorly about myself when it comes to my job, but hearing that just made me feel so much better. i am making a difference.
