ancestral altars are so important.

last night in the shower, i asked to see a sign or message from my ancestors. when i went to sleep, my grandma arrived to me in my dream. i haven’t seen her since after she passed when i was 6.+

she’s very busy as a guide and yet, she came to me. we were relaxing in a house and she was young. she showed me what she looked like at that age. we started talking and she kept giving me information. i was young when she passed away so i didn’t know any of this+

she kept talking about a house and that she really wanted to stay in this house and be with family. she was sad that she had to go to the skilled nursing and she kept saying she would’ve much rather have been with us. but she ultimately thanked me for bringing her into my home

she was happy and relaxing but then told me she was hungry and needed more food so she asked me to go get some. i ran off to the store but then was like “no i don’t want to miss her visit and idek what to get.” so i went back to the home and she was there eating +

green grapes. it was like she’d summoned me back to show me what she was eating. we kept talking. she wanted to catch up. she asked me about astrology and everything i have going on even though she already knew bc she wanted to hear it from my mouth

we both always wanted to get to know each other but never got the full opportunity bc i was so young when she passed. she told me this and kept saying she’s so happy to be in my home. eventually she got older.. to the state i remember her being in before she died.

i saw her energy and demeanor change as she got older and at the end of the visit, she was sitting in a chair, wearing white and crying. she said “i really don’t want to leave you but i have to get back. thank you for having me in your home”

and then i woke up. i learned so much about her in the dream.. saw her energy. and of course.. it’s like.. how do i know if this is true?

lol well i just called my mom and told her about the dream. every detail down to the green grapes..

and my mom told me the story about the house. how my grandma didn’t want to be in the skilled nursing home. how she wanted to be in her home.. in her family’s home but couldn’t be. and then i told my mom that grandma was eating green grapes of all things and my mom said

“green grapes?!? she loved green grapes! she ate those all the time! it’s her favorite”

last night i had all my candles on the altar but no offerings/food. i realize, my grandma was saying she wanted food. i tried to run to the store but i forgot that there were grapes

already in my refrigerator (yes in real life). my grandma went into my refrigerator and got them. when i got back into the house in the dream, she was closing the refrigerator and eating the green grapes.

now i know that’s what she wants as an offering. +

i know she’s busy as a guide or something and i know a little bit of backstory about what happened before she passed away. my mom was able to confirm it all. it warms my heart that my grandma feels safe and comfortable in my house. it’s what she’s always wanted.
