A few years ago I was working on a few animations for the re-release of Led Zeppelin's Houses of the Holy, and came across these incredible images of Giant's Causeway formations, in Northern Ireland.

The geometric, naturally sculpted patterns captured my attention, so I started to experiment with different types of structures and remeshing techniques. One of those early experiments ended up being the cover image of Goldie's latest music adventure, "Subjective".

This eventually ended up finding it's way into one of my obsessions, character creation. I'm saying "creation" and not "design" since the process relies on so much randomness that these characters are really more findings that the result of sketching and careful modelling.

These Lifeforms are one of my most cherished happy accidents, and the result of a mix of curiosity, laziness and the deep believe that some of the most interesting things happen by accident.

I'm a person who loves to move sliders, tick boxes and spin wheels and knobs almost never knowing what the result will be. Hope you'll enjoy these moving portraits, and to all collectors, thanks in advance for the support.
