Hannah Arendt wrote a victim-blaming essay ft. sad attempts to humanize & defend Adolf Eichmann in "Eichmann in Jerusalem".

In this part, she defended him with saying he committed no crimes since nothing he did was a crime in nazi Germany and he was just doing his job.

She had a relationship with Martin Heidegger. She was a literal nazi fucker. She supported euro-colonialism & as the civil rights movement happened in the U.S. she said '... [racial] discrimination has greater validity than the principle of equality'.

Her pathetic and delusional notion of the "banality of evil" has caused such widespread and irreparable damage to so many people's understanding of the German nazis and of fascism in general. Stop listening to and quoting Hannah Arendt.

Just to add to this, that's not even to get into the fact that she literally and openly hated eastern Jewish people. She was just an overall shit person in every way.
