Some basic facts about ancient Chinese bronze:
-A history stretching back almost 4000 years
-Some of the most beautiful, technically skilled, & stylistically unique ancient objects on the globe
-Forgeries have been made for at least 2000 years now

The thing that makes ancient Chinese bronze so unique is how they made it: while every other civilization invented the lost was process, China did things differently.
The piece-mold casting method utilised several carved terracotta moulds rather than lost wax process.
