It needs to be said that @AbdulMahmud01 played a vital role in organizing and leading last week Saturday's protest in Abuja.

He was the father figure. Walked with us all the way from Berger to Police HQ. He is hardly in the conversation and I feel that's unfair. Huge respect

I am a young person and I know how much toll that long walk had on my body. Now imagine an elderly man like him walking same distance.

He was with us all through. He addressed us, calmed us down, helped coordinate traffic, advised us on how to conduct ourselves at police HQ

Unfortunately he didn't take any iconic photo on that day and the great work he did before, during and after the protest has been largely forgotten in the history books.

We might not be best of friends but I think he deserves more recognition for his effort than he's getting
