Some important warnings on the #NBCtownhall with @realDonaldTrump and #ABCTownHall with @JoeBiden tonight.

Biden will say the same things he always does. He MAY be asked about the Hunter Biden story. He WILL repeat the #finepeoplehoax.

More people will watch NBC/Trump.

NBC is an arm of the Democratic Party. Their recent show with Biden was a disgrace, with phony "undecided" voters and softball questions. With Trump it will be hand-picked critics and hostile questions. It will be tougher, but expectations are low, so he could exceed them.

The most newsworthy thing Trump can do is address NBC's role in the suppression of the @nypost's stories on Hunter & Joe Biden. An NBC anchor called the reports "Russian disinformation" this morning. Trump should call NBC out for that, directly. It's election interference.

The most *important* thing for Trump to do is prepare for questions about "white supremacy," and the Charlottesville #finepeoplehoax. He has to be as prepared as @VP Mike Pence was last week to note that he said the extremists should be "condemned totally," and always has.

Trump also has to prepare for questions about the coronavirus ( @CNN is still running "super-spreader" stuff as a major narrative this week). He needs to do three things: 1. Emphasize his own quick recovery from COVID, as a symbol of the nation's recovery from the pandemic.

(5/8)
2. Note that @KamalaHarris has had to suspend her campaign for several days because -- despite all the over-the-top precautions of the Biden campaign, including the bizarre little circles, the masks, and the basement -- even they couldn't prevent staff from being infected.

(6/8)
3. Trump should emphasize the big difference between his approach and the Democrats': with Trump, you will still have your freedom and your Constitution when coronavirus is gone (plus a vaccine too). Democrats would do away with freedom without actually stopping the virus.

(7/8)
One final note: the town hall format is NOT A DEBATE. Even if they are plants the questioners will appear to be ordinary people. Trump is very good at NOT doing what Biden does (i.e. insulting members of the public who ask tough questions) but he can't afford any mistakes.
