What if being a mother were a voluntary and respected facet of a woman's life that was independent of her professional standing? What if some conservatives weren't obsessed with attempting to pit women against each other based on whether or not they have children?
What if children were generally treated as a blessing for those who want children instead of a wedge issue to be exploited by itemizing them as one might credentials on a resume?
Also: what's the threshold for those who believe that women are valid only if they have children? Is the magic number 7? If a mother has eight children, is she a better person and jurist than Amy Coney Barrett? If she does all the childcare, is she better than Barrett? Wondering.
