i actually kinda agree with this... it always felt off to me when i saw a non-korean or non-asian person using an idol as a neogender or neopronouns... https://twitter.com/fruitsmagazne/status/1310314470372249600
like i am fully in support of neogenders and neopronouns... but there’s a line you shouldn’t cross with them. that line is cultural appropriation.

if your neogender/neopronouns are a result of ca, stop it. there’s a bunch of neogenders/neopronouns out there -
and i’m sure there’s a set that’ll help you express yourself. we just ask that you stop it, we are tired of being objectified, even if it’s not your intention to be racist to us, a lot of us see it that way.
and before you speak over me, i am neurodivergent, trans, and -
partially korean as well. please listen to us when we say we’re being oppressed. please don’t speak over us. same goes for any other culture that doesn’t apply to you. thanks for reading. i’m genuinely sorry if i offend you with this thread, but i just think this is -
important to bring up.
