THREAD: Why @NBCNews 's position here is deliberate bullshit.

1) Translating Conde's statement: Conde is basically trying to spin this and arguing against a non-existent opponent. He's falsely claiming people want him to move the *TIMESLOT.* Nope, we want the DAY moved. https://twitter.com/bristei/status/1316773085320798218

2) He's doing this for a specific reason: by claiming the controversy is the "timeslot" (wut?), he can claim was he claims here: Our Biden townhall earlier this month was 7:30 pm - 9 15 pm so we have to give Trump the very same timeslot (8 pm'ish). Fair is fair!"

3) He claims it is because the candidates deserve to reach the very same audience (NBC's 8 pm'ish audience).

4) But that's besides the point. First, if they want to give Trump a townhall, go for it. Just don't do it on a DAY where you are purposely faciliating a scheme to draw eyeballs away from the opposing candidate's ALREADY-SCHEDULED townhall elsewhere.

5) Go ahead and give Trump a townhall, NBC. But don't bullshit us and claim that the only "fair" day would literally be the same day as Biden's townhall, or B.S. us about "slot times." The problem is the DAY on which you're doing this.
