Dudes saying “Come thru if you want” really used to rattle me until I realised majority of dudes really don’t mean anything by it. It literally translates to “I want you to come and it would be nice if you did but if YOU don’t, then it’s also cool” Perspective, I guess >>>

Sometimes, there’s actually no lines to read between. I understand people want to feel wanted but you need to deep it’s A LOT easier to just make up an excuse and not see somebody. “Come thru if you want” takes a lot of pressure off, it legit gives you a lightweight choice.
