Best practice, cyclist inside and pedestrians outside. Cyclists should travel in the same direction as cars.
Design/Control for cars, but this rumble strip allows for large trucks to make use when necessary. This helps you to not design a roundabout for trucks, but just incorporating features to make it useful for them as well.
Roadway connects at a 90 degree angle. This calms traffic and prevents it from being a turbo roundabout.

Takeaway: Extra lanes on roundabouts don& #39;t really increase car handling capacity. Single lane is the way to go.
