We begin our journey with Deyl Djama ( @DeylDjama), a PhD student from the Department of Life Sciences!
Deyl is interested in how the brain works in health & disease. He combines the two in his research, which looks at optimising and understanding the mode of action of a gene therapy for Huntington’s Disease.
In his spare time, he likes to go to the museums as he enjoys art and history. He also likes reading, and writes a weekly newsletter on Djibouti (Subscribe at http://deyldjama.substack.com )! He also occasionally plays basketball with friends.
Deyl is sharing with us a few pictures from his trip to Rome (The hallway is in the Vatican & the wall is in the Castel Sant’Angelo)!
