In this country in recent weeks:

- Doctor sacked by HSE for opposing lockdown
- Doctor sacked by ShannonDoc for opposing lockdown
- Doctor investigated by Med Council for opposing lockdown
- Journalists condemning Irish Times for publishing factual ad opposing lockdown.

Incidentally, I know some people are conspiracy theorists. But there's no conspiracy, IMO. It's just another expression of this country's absolute ability to cope with the idea that some people might not agree with the course adopted by the tribe. We're a very religious people.

That is how, for example, we can have practically the exact same Coronavirus policy as Donald Trump, but believe ourselves to be doing something different.
