Morning! We're trying to answer a simple question: How much taxpayer money has been paid to @realdonaldtrump' private business?
Today, we should learn a little more. After we sued the @StateDept for not releasing records, they've agreed to start today.

Here's what we know so far:
@realdonaldtrump's company has reaped at least $1.2 million in (largely hidden) payments from U.S. taxpayers.
Trump's biz broke its promise to charge the govt "like $50" for rooms. Instead, their rates went up to $650/room. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/secret-service-spending-trump-kids/2020/10/12/ffc1c330-ff31-11ea-9ceb-061d646d9c67_story.html

We have very little State Dept records so far. But what we *do* have includes this stunner:
In 2017, @realdonaldtrump's aides drank $1,000 worth of liquor at Mar-a-Lago, then sent the bill to taxpayers.
