The CABL season officially came to an end last night. Throughout the day today, we’re going to highlight some of our players that have been around for the last four years and helped make us a successful franchise
First up: Jason Erhardt, our team leader in almost every pitching category

ERA: 1.53 (Second)

Jason was picked up as a free agent prior to our first season. He has won 2 Cy Young awards (2017-2018) and ranks second all-time in career wins
Second: Pat Dempsey

Average: .304
Career Hits: 70
Homeruns: 3
Walks: 45
Stolen Bases: 20

Pat has been one our best bats in the lineup and a super-utility player in the field. He holds the CABL single season walk record (21) and is the team leader in stolen bases and homeruns
Third: Jon Lawlor

Average: .190
Doubles: 3
Walks: 16
Stolen Bases: 5

Jon is another guy that has been around since the beginning. A guy that is willing to do whatever is asked of him. Had a career season in 2019 after being pressed into the leadoff spot halfway through the year
Fourth: Kyle Holland

Average: .319
Hits: 23
Games: 26

Kyle was the main catcher in our first year. Internships and school took him away for most of the next three, but he always managed a few games a year behind the plate. He’s also responsible for all of our awesome apparel
Fifth: Tom Nashawaty

Average: .262
Walks: 29
RBI: 24

Tom has played in the fifth most games in team history. He’s a very solid defender at the corner infield spot and adds depth to the lineup. He’s also been the many faces of our twitter account for the last 4 years
Sixth: Zach Simpson

Average: .251
Homeruns: 2
Doubles: 10
RBI: 37

Zach has provided a presence in the midlde of the lineup, played all three outfield positions, caught and pitched. He made an All-Star appearance in 2019 and was the subject of #ZachFacts
Seventh: Mike Sjolin

ERA: 2.71
Strikeouts: 31
Wins: 3

Mike started his career as a pitcher before switching to a full time position player. Hit .250 with 10 RBI in his only full season as a position player. He’s also responsible for most of the photos in this thread
