Since March, more than 1,400 Iowans have died from COVID-19. They were mothers, daughters, fathers, sons, Cubs lovers, mask sewers and so much more. They were Iowans. We’re committed to telling their stories. #IowaMourns

We launched #IowaMourns to remember them. We hope to not only memorialize the dead, but also to create a community of living mourners — a broken-hearts club that promises to remember and offers a space to laugh, to cry.
