Every time women and girls open up about the violence they face,some people start the discussion about violence against men and boys saying "Men are also victims","Men face more violence than women","Is equality only needed for women?","Why do women not speak about all this?"

See, violence against anyone is unacceptable. We should have zero tolerance towards it. However, it is strange that these people only use counter-arguments when a specific issue is being discussed.

Why do they stay silent at other times and only remember to prove their activism and advocacy when women speak up? When someone is talking about VAWG, LISTEN. You can initiate a discussion on Violence Against Men and Boys another time. This is not a competition.
