But, there isn't one fix all for this. Yes, that 400 per week would help a lot of families. But, there are some families that would rather have that 1200 to pay off smaller debts that have kept them living paycheck to paycheck.

Many families have been forced to take out payday loans, or small personal loans, during this to just make it through.
And, sure, creditors would love to get all of that high interest. But, wouldn't paying things off earlier be a better scenario with those groups?

I'm lucky enough to have found a full-time job during all of this. But, I know, when my unemployment was coming to an end I started freaking out. And, in that situation I would have loved having $400 a week.
Point of this thread being;
The stimulus packages need to give people an option.
But, that leaves the government figuring out some kind of website or paperwork that we would all have to fill out. And, we all know how that goes, right?
