I did a poll on this about a year ago but I am going to ask the question without a poll to allow for greater flexibility in answering. if you are mixed-race/biracial/dual heritage, how do you refer to yourself? do you use any of the above terms?
I default to mixed-race, because I've used it for a long time, & because I've found a sense of commonality of experience with other mixed-race people, regardless of ethnicity, that not-enough-for-one-or-other prickle.
but I do wonder whether it might be more elegant, & more representative of my personal experience of privilege/lack of privilege, to be more specific, e.g. Anglo-Cambodian (which acknowledged that white privilege plays a part in my experience, as well as specific SEA ties)
