i decided to make this playlist because i wanted to tell sarawat and tine’s story through songs since music has always been a constant and it’s what brought them together. now i’m gonna talk about why i chose each song. i hope you enjoy it. i hope it makes you feel closer to them

𝟷. 𝚍𝚘𝚗’𝚝 𝚝𝚊𝚔𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚎𝚢 - 𝚋𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚜

even if we didn’t know at the beginning, sarawat and tine’s story started sooner than it seems: when sarawat sees him at that scrubb concert, falling in love with tine’s smile, being unable to stop thinking about him

sarawat is so smitten that he even ends up writing him a song. he is restless, he needs to find him again. he has never experienced this before, but when he saw tine, he just knew. it felt right.

that’s why i chose “don’t take the money”. the song expresses perfectly what sarawat felt that first time. now, even if he doesn’t know yet, he understands. he gets it, that love

𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒊𝒓 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒚 𝒍𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒔, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒎𝒆 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍 𝒊𝒕

𝟸. 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛 - 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚗 𝚐𝚛𝚊𝚢

one year later, sarawat and tine finally meet again. and it seems like it’s everything sarawat could ever ask for, with tine being so keen on getting to know him and asking to be his boyfriend. if it weren’t because it’s for pretend

tine likes girls. and sarawat almost sees his world shattering, having to watch tine crushing on girls, flirting with them, when he likes him this much. he’s so jealous it hurts, but there’s nothing he can do about it, isn’t it?

i chose “heather” because of its rawness, its realness. it’s like a punch. you can feel sarawat’s jealousy and pain in it, wishing tine would look at him like that too. he’s close to him, but he can’t have him

𝒔𝒉𝒆’𝒔 𝒈𝒐𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒆𝒔𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒛𝒆𝒅, 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒊 𝒅𝒊𝒆

𝟹. 𝚌𝚘𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚍𝚎 - 𝚓𝚊𝚖𝚎𝚜 𝚋𝚊𝚢

now we have an incredibly frustrated sarawat, because tine doesn’t seem to realize that his feelings are genuine. so they fight and tease each other all the time, clashing constantly

but even though tine claims he can’t stand sarawat and is not shy to show how annoyed he is by him, sarawat can’t stop getting on his nerves. it’s not the relationship he wanted to have with tine, but it’s better than nothing

“collide” is about that. sarawat is ready to do what it takes to not lose tine again. and if in order to do that, he has to keep getting him mad, then so be it

𝒊’𝒅 𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒊𝒏 𝒎𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆

𝟺. 𝚌𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚑 - 𝚝𝚎𝚜𝚜𝚊 𝚟𝚒𝚘𝚕𝚎𝚝

but suddenly, something changes with sarawat. every day it passes, he likes tine more and more. his attempts at flirting become bolder, and he doesn’t even bother to hide it anymore. he wants tine to look at him differently

sarawat now knows what he feels. he used to think he just liked tine, but he has realized he is in love with him. he gets it, for real. he’s ready to actually try. it’s not like he’s suddenly expecting tine to reciprocate his feelings, but he isn’t going to give up either

in my opinion, “crush” fits this moment beautifully. all that nervousness, giddiness and confusion that comes with falling in love but being too scared to acknowledge it. that’s what sarawat is feeling

𝒊 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 ‘𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒕𝒐𝒖𝒄𝒉

𝟻. 𝚜𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚋𝚘𝚍𝚢 𝚝𝚘 𝚢𝚘𝚞 - 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚟𝚊𝚖𝚙𝚜

things are getting more complicated, with tine being oblivious and sarawat dealing with his recently acknowledged feelings. he thinks he’s being clear enough, but tine keeps talking about pear and flirting with her

sarawat’s love is bigger than him and it’s getting out of control. he can’t stand watching tine following pear around, so keen on dating her when he’s right there. to numb the pain, sarawat gets drunk to the point he can’t even think straight and he ends up snapping, kissing tine

“somebody to you” expresses sarawat’s want to be that someone to tine. he isn’t okay with being his fake boyfriend or just a friend anymore. he wants tine, all of him

𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒊’𝒎 𝒇𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏’, 𝒄𝒂𝒏’𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌 𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈

𝟼. 𝚍𝚘𝚞𝚋𝚕𝚎 𝚝𝚊𝚔𝚎 - 𝚍𝚑𝚛𝚞𝚟

a problem. sarawat kissed tine while drunk, making him finally doubt, and now he doesn’t know if sarawat is only pretending or if he actually likes him. but sarawat doesn’t remember it, and tine isn’t sure of what he’s supposed to do

tine tries to go and make sarawat jealous to get some answers, but his plan backfires, and he’s the one who ends up being jealous, making sarawat get his hopes up. but history repeats itself, and tine was apparently too drunk to remember. still, something shifts between them

“double take” is that bittersweet love song about that unavoidable jealousy while you like someone and you see them with other people, and about not being able to see anybody else, no matter how much you try

𝒃𝒐𝒚, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒈𝒐𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈

𝟽. 𝚍𝚘𝚗’𝚝 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚗𝚊 𝚋𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚏𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚍 - 𝚊𝚢𝚘𝚔𝚊𝚢

ah, the turning point. there’s no need for them to keep pretending to be boyfriends anymore. they can go their separate ways now and forget about the other

obviously, sarawat doesn’t want that, but he seems to respect tine’s decision. now tine’s free! he can go flirt with girls again! the issue is that he can’t stop seeing sarawat everywhere, thinking about him nonstop and not being interested in anyone else

he even gets jealous, hurting when he sees earn getting so close to sarawat. but he doesn’t get it. he’s confused and he doesn’t understand what’s going on with him. but sarawat finally confesses, telling tine clearly. and although tine doesn’t confess back, he doesn’t reject him

i think that with this song the title is self explanatory. but basically, even if tine is still in doubt, sarawat has been sure for long. and now he sees a little bit of hope, so he takes a leap of faith and goes all out

𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒘𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒚 𝒊𝒕, 𝒊𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒖𝒕

𝟾. 𝚙𝚜𝚢𝚌𝚑𝚘 - 𝚛𝚎𝚍 𝚟𝚎𝚕𝚟𝚎𝚝

so sarawat is now flirting with tine for real, to try and make him fall for him. and tine’s going crazy because of it, because when they’re close, his heart beats wildly and he turns beet red. what the hell is wrong with him?

even his friends are saying he’s just messing with his head, and that tine’s just confused. but in the end, tine gets to the conclusion that he wants to be with sarawat. to have him in his life and be an important part of his, too. he isn’t going to leave him, not anymore

with this song, the playlist takes a turn. we’ve been focusing on sarawat’s perspective and his feelings, but in “psycho” we finally get to see what is going on inside tine’s head, everything sarawat makes him feel

𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒈𝒐𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒑𝒔𝒚𝒄𝒉𝒐

𝟿. 𝚜𝚘 𝚏𝚊𝚛 𝚜𝚘 𝚐𝚘𝚘𝚍 - 𝚐𝚊𝚋𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚎 𝚊𝚙𝚕𝚒𝚗

it was hard, and it took him a long time, but tine finally realizes that what he feels for sarawat is not merely platonic. he loves him, and not as a friend. but he fears he isn’t good enough for him

tine feels the need to prove himself, to be worthy of being with sarawat. he doesn’t know how and when he got to this point, especially considering how it started and how annoyed he used to be by sarawat. but he finally won him over, and tine knows what he wants

“so far so good” speaks about how tine, at the beginning, couldn’t even imagine to reach this point. but now he’s in love with sarawat, he has probably been for some time now, and it’s good. it’s really freaking good

𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓, 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒍𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒚 𝒂𝒎 𝒊?

𝟷𝟶. 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎 𝚖𝚎 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚍𝚘 - 𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚎 𝚐𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐

the honeymoon phase. sarawat and tine are together and they just can’t keep their hands to each other. they’re always around the other, so happy the think they could explode. everything is perfect

they even moved in together, because they can’t bear to be away from each other. it’s like every piece of them finally clicks, and they know they are with the right person. they’re helplessly, desperately, in love with each other. and they’re not afraid anymore

“love me like you do” has that passion, that intensity they experience, especially at the beginning of their relationship. they fell hard and fast, but they can’t and won’t stop

𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒔𝒆𝒕 𝒎𝒚 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒏 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒆

of course, not everything is as perfect as it seems. every relationship must go through hardships and problems, and sarawat and tine are no exception. they love each other, yes, but being with someone is more than that

however, although is hard and they get worried, insecure and upset, they want to trust each other. they’re willing to fight for this relationship, to be there for the other as long as they’re able to. because they know this love is worth it

“stand by you” is probably one of my favourite songs for them. i think it expresses everything they share how much they love each other. and it can be interpreted from both perspectives

even though there are obstacles and difficult times, sarawat and tine stick through thick and thin. not even distance is strong enough to separate them, because their hearts, their souls, are always together

they’ve come this far, already a year into their relationship and they’re as happy as ever. it felt right since the beginning, and even if they’re changing, learning, they’re doing it together. and they want to keep doing it for many years, forever. they’ve made their decision

they choose each other, and they would choose each other in every life, in every reality. they’ve found the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with. because this is how is supposed to be like. this is how it’s supposed to feel like. this is love

for me, “electric love” is just sarawatine as a whole. the music, the lyrics, the feeling. it’s them. i think of them every time i listen to it, and it had to be in this playlist

sarawat and tine were meant to be before they met, even before they knew about each other’s existence. and i used to not believe in this kind of things, but i can recognize soulmates when i see them. and sarawat and tine are soulmates

they love each other, they support each other, they make each other better. sarawat is able to get tine to feel more confident, more comfortable. and tine understands sarawat, lets him feel safe enough to voice his feelings, even if he’s never been good at talking

their love makes them grow, as a couple but also individually, and they’re ready to face all the years that are to come and everything they will bring. because what matters it’s that they’re together, and that they take care of each other, and that’s enough

“everything” is their song. it needed to be here, and it needed to close the playlist. it’s been there since the beginning, it’s with them now, and it will be there in the end, too. they’re going to grow old together, after all

before ending this thread, i just wanted to say how thankful i am for sarawat and tine, for their love. they kind of saved me this year, and i’m so happy i found them. they make me feel at home, and it means the world to me. i’m glad they exist and that they’re with me

this is not a goodbye, because their story doesn’t end. they’re soulmates, and they’re gonna be together in this life and the others. no matter the circumstances, they’ll always find each other.
